THE ALIGNMENT CHECK-IN
AND MORE INTENTIONAL.
How to Use This
This isn't a test. There are no wrong answers.
Find a quiet moment. Grab something to write with. And be honest with yourself—not perfect, just honest.
You can complete this in one sitting or return to sections as needed. The goal isn't to fix everything today. It's to create a little clarity in the noise.
1. Arrive
If you're here, something in you already knows it's time to pause.
Not because everything is wrong—but because something feels heavier than it needs to be.
This isn't about fixing your life. It's about listening to it.
Before you continue, take three slow breaths.
Notice how you feel right now. No judgment. Just awareness.
2. Name What You're Carrying
Most of us keep going without naming what we're carrying. Clarity begins the moment you're honest with yourself.
Check all that apply:
Right now, one thing that feels heavier than it should is:
You don't need to solve this yet. Naming it is enough for now.
3. Follow Your Energy
Energy doesn't lie. It quietly tells you what's working—and what isn't.
Lately, something that gives me energy—even in small ways—is:
(This could be a person, activity, environment, ritual, creative outlet—anything.)
Something that consistently drains my energy is:
Right now, what feels more important?
4. Reconnect With What Matters
Misalignment often shows up as exhaustion, irritation, or numbness—not because you're doing life wrong, but because you're drifting from what matters.
When I feel most like myself, I am:
(Qualities, activities, ways of being—not roles or titles.)
When I feel least like myself, it's often because:
One value that feels especially important to me right now is:
(Examples: honesty, creativity, rest, connection, growth, freedom, kindness, impact)
5. Create Space
Lightness doesn't usually come from doing more. It comes from releasing what no longer fits.
One area of my life that I wish felt lighter is:
Something I'm carrying out of habit—not necessity—is:
Something I could pause, delegate, simplify, or let go of is:
An expectation—mine or someone else's—that I could loosen is:
You're not giving up. You're making room for what matters.
6. Choose One Small Shift
Alignment doesn't require a dramatic change. It asks for honesty—and one small choice that supports it.
One small, aligned shift I'm willing to try this week is:
If this feels doable, you're on the right track. If it feels too big, make it smaller.
To support this shift, I could:
7. Re-anchor
Nothing is wrong with you for feeling tired, unsure, or restless. You're responding to a heavy world with awareness—and that matters.
Alignment isn't a destination. It's a relationship you build with yourself over time.
Let this check-in be enough for today.
What's Next?
